Returns & Refund Policy

If you an item isn’t a right fit, visit the Returns page to initiate a return request. All returns must be postmarked within 14 days from the item's delivery date. Multiple returns can be consolidated into one package with all return slips included. All items must be in the same condition as received. A $3.99 restocking fee applies to all items, and the original shipping charge is nonrefundable. Final sale items cannot be returned. For orders shipped within the 48 contiguous U.S., items purchased with thredUP store credits will be refunded as store credits. Refund methods cannot be changed after processing. ThredUP store credits will be refunded within five to seven days of receiving the return, while credit card refunds may take an additional three to five business days. Promotions and discounts are not reimbursed.

Cancellation Policy

ThredUP works to send out orders quickly, so orders may not be eligible for cancellation once they’re prepared for shipping. If you need to cancel, contact customer support with your order number as soon as possible. If you forgot a promo code or have any issues, reach out to customer support for assistance. Unfortunately, bundled orders can't be canceled under any circumstances.

Shipping & Delivery Policy

For bundled shipping, you pay an $8.99 refundable flat rate. Your items are sent in one box, and after seven days, your bundle is processed and shipped. Once shipped, it takes three to eight business days for your orders to arrive via USPS. Standard shipping costs $10.99, comes in one box, and takes three to eight business days for delivery by USPS. Expedited shipping is $25.99, available for same-warehouse orders in one box, and your items arrive in two to three business days through USPS. Separate shipping costs $15.99 for orders from multiple warehouses in two or more boxes, and delivery takes three to six business days via USPS.

Referral Program

ThredUP has special offers where you get credits when your friends sign up through your referral link and make their first purchase. Your friend gets a coupon, and you get ThredUP store credit when your friend's order ships. To invite friends, log into your thredUP account and go to your Sharing page. You only get credit if new members make their first purchase, and ThredUP allows only one signup per home. The credits you earn are valid for 30 days and expire at 11:59 p.m. PT on the 30th day. You can earn up to $580 in referral credits per user each year. After reaching this limit, you won't earn more credits until the next year.
