Return Policies
Walmart return policies vary by department. However, most items may be returned in original condition and original packaging within 90 days of purchase.

Walmart Return Policy Without Receipt
If you'd like to make a return at Walmart without a receipt, bring your valid government-issued ID to the store. If the ID info matches with what's stored in Walmart's database for the purchase, your return will be accepted.

Walmart Exchange Policy
You can exchange most items within 90 days of purchase (some items have shorter exchange deadlines). The Walmart exchange policy is essentially the same as the return policy. Bring in your item and receipt (or ID) and swap the item for another instead of getting a refund. Terms apply -- for example, you can't exchange an item for a different one -- generally, you'll be exchanging for the same item in a different color or size. Note that some items are exchange-only and can't even be processes as a return for refund. Examples include unlocked wireless phones and air mattresses.
